Decoiling Line Operator – Brierley Hill, West Midlands
Location: Sebden Steel, Brierley Hill
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:00pm Friday: 7:00am–3:00pm
Remuneration: Competitive pay & excellent working conditions
About the Role
Due to continued growth, Sebden Steel’s Brierley Hill site is seeking an experienced Decoiling Line Operator to join their skilled and expanding production team.
You’ll play a key role in the efficient operation of our processing lines, maintaining high standards of quality, output, and safety.
Your Profile
Essential Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Proven experience as a Decoiling Line Operator, including leveller setting and working to close tolerances
- Strong ability to monitor and manage product quality and output
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Accurate completion of all production paperwork
- Capable of working independently and as part of a wider team
- Flexible, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude
- Proficiency in quality control methods (e.g., use of vernier callipers, micrometres)
- Familiarity with Health & Safety Regulations
- Knowledge of 5S workflow systems to maintain a clean workspace
