The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, forward-thinking practice where your clinical input is valued, and your development is actively supported.
You’ll enjoy a varied and engaging caseload, with the time and autonomy to work cases up properly, backed by a collaborative team that shares knowledge and always has your back.
In this role you will:
- Deliver high-quality clinical care across consultations and surgery
- Work closely within a supportive, experienced team
- Contribute ideas to improve clinical standards and workflow
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their pets
- Develop your clinical interests with full encouragement and support
You’ll be confident with routine medical and surgical cases and comfortable with occasional sole charge, with support always available when needed.
The Role
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Typically, 4 x 10-hour days (9am–7pm)
- 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am–6pm, with paid 1-hour lunch)
- No out-of-hours
Flexible working patterns are available and open to discussion.

The Team
You’ll be joining a close-knit, genuinely supportive team who enjoy working together:
- 3 Veterinary Surgeons
- 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses
- 6 Receptionists (first aid & mental health first aid trained)
- 1 Practice Manager
