Role Overview

Decorative Panels Components Ltd and Decorative Panels Furniture Ltd are seeking an experienced Buyer to support procurement activities across both businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing stock levels, and ensuring continuity of supply to support operational and customer requirements.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience within the KBB (Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom) sector, although applicants from related manufacturing, furniture, interiors, or construction supply industries will also be considered.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Buyer to join a growing manufacturing group and contribute to operational efficiency, supplier performance, and cost management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure materials, components, and services in line with company requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of supply.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and supply agreements.
  • Monitor stock levels and demand forecasts to support production and customer fulfilment.
  • Work closely with production, planning, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Monitor supplier performance including delivery, quality, and service levels.
  • Resolve supply issues and manage supplier-related risks proactively.
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records.
  • Support sustainability and compliance initiatives where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
