Expert Agentic AI Engineer
Expert Agentic AI Engineer (UK-Based Roles)

About the Role
As an Expert Agentic AI Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional development team at the forefront of shaping tomorrow’s AI experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, train, and deploy production-grade Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing (NLP) models
- Optimise ML models for enterprise-scale latency, throughput, and performance, ensuring seamless integration with data warehouses, workflow automation, and AI agents
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to construct high-quality data pipelines, automated feature stores, and secure preprocessing routines
- Establish and scale MLOps workflows for:
- Model lineage tracking
- Code versioning
- Automated validation gates
- Continuous deployment pipelines
- [Expert-Level Focus] Lead technical direction for AI engineering across squads, evaluate emerging AI methodologies, and mentor senior team members

Requirements
Technical Expertise & Experience
- 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Expert) of hands-on ML model development, deployment, and maintenance in live production environments
- Agentic AI Frameworks expertise:
- Building autonomous workflows, custom plugins, and orchestration logic using:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Semantic Kernels
- Building autonomous workflows, custom plugins, and orchestration logic using:
- Cloud AI Infrastructure:
- Deploy and fine-tune generative AI models with PromptFlow in Azure AI Foundry (formerly Azure AI Studio)
- Integration with vector databases and scalable RAG pipelines
- Tool Integration:
- Robust experience connecting LLMs to:
- External APIs
- Enterprise data sources
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems
- Robust experience connecting LLMs to:
- Elite Python Proficiency with experience using:
- Core ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face)
- General-purpose cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- MLOps Excellence:
- Hands-on experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, AWS SageMaker, or Azure ML
- Versioning strategies, automated deployment, and model tracking
- Software/Fundamentals Knowledge:
- Advanced data structures & algorithmic complexity understanding
- Clean code and scalable systems principles

Education & Qualifications
A formal degree in:
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Mathematics or a similarly quantitative discipline (strongly preferred)
