Expert Agentic AI Engineer

About the Role
As an Expert Agentic AI Engineer, join a cross-functional development team and shape the experiences of tomorrow. Your work will build foundational AI technology that drives business innovation and transforms how technology solves real-world problems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) models.
- Optimise ML models for enterprise-scale latency, throughput, and performance, ensuring seamless integration with data warehouses and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with data engineers to engineer high-quality data pipelines, automated feature stores, and secure preprocessing routines.
- Establish and scale MLOps workflows for:
- Model lineage tracking
- Code versioning
- Automated validation gates
- Continuous deployment pipelines
- Define technical direction for AI engineering across squads—evaluate emerging AI methodologies and provide mentorship to senior team members.

Requirements
Essential
- 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Expert) designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and shipping machine learning models in production.
- Hands-on experience developing autonomous workflows and orchestrating agentic behaviors using:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Semantic Kernels
- Custom agentic plugins and plugins frameworks
- Cloud AI Infrastructure expertise, including:
- Building and fine-tuning generative AI models
- Working with Prompt Flow pipelines
- Deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry (formerly Azure AI Studio) and Azure AI Enterprise
- Integrating LLMs with:
- External APIs
- Enterprise data sources
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools for autonomous task execution
- Python expertise (elite proficiency required) paired with deep experience in:
- Core NLW (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit-Learn other deeper libraries)
- MLOps experience:
- Familiarity with production ML tracking tools
- Working in cloud-based AI ecosystems such as MLflow, Kubeflow, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML
- Advanced CS fundamentals:
- Algorithmic complexity and data structure mastery
- Clean code and software engineering best practices
- A formal degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a quantitative field is preferred.
