Expert Automobilia

At Catawiki, every day brings the extraordinary!

Whether it’s Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 Car, a Woolly Mammoth’s Skeleton, Lady Gaga's Jumpsuit or Usain Bolt’s running shoe, we encounter exceptional objects every day.

We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 100,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us.

Core Values

  • Taking ownership and driving impact
  • Being open to change and feedback
  • Being passionate about our mission and our customers

Your Mission

As an Automobilia Expert specialising in car parts, your mission is to bring your deep Automobilia expertise to the curation of high-quality, compelling lots that attract collectors and drive successful auctions. Your knowledge of the market, materials, authenticity, and collector value is central to ensuring transparency, fairness, and strong results for both buyers and sellers.

By evaluating submissions, advising users, and optimising auction performance, you play a key role in strengthening the credibility, growth, and specialist appeal of the Automobilia category.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate and curate Automobilia lots, with a focus on car parts, to ensure quality and authenticity
  • Create compelling lot titles and descriptions that attract collectors and maximise bidding activity
  • Provide reliable estimated values and professional guidance to sellers
  • Review images and submissions to ensure they meet Catawiki’s quality and transparency standards
  • Optimise auction performance through effective reserve pricing and strategy decisions
  • Build and maintain relationships with sellers, buyers, and industry contacts to grow the category
  • Collaborate remotely with internal stakeholders to align on commercial goals and category performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
