Your Mission
As an Automobilia Expert specialising in car parts, your mission is to bring your deep Automobilia expertise to the curation of high-quality, compelling lots that attract collectors and drive successful auctions. Your knowledge of the market, materials, authenticity, and collector value is central to ensuring transparency, fairness, and strong results for both buyers and sellers.
By evaluating submissions, advising users, and optimising auction performance, you play a key role in strengthening the credibility, growth, and specialist appeal of the Automobilia category.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and curate Automobilia lots, with a focus on car parts, to ensure quality and authenticity
- Create compelling lot titles and descriptions that attract collectors and maximise bidding activity
- Provide reliable estimated values and professional guidance to sellers
- Review images and submissions to ensure they meet Catawiki’s quality and transparency standards
- Optimise auction performance through effective reserve pricing and strategy decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with sellers, buyers, and industry contacts to grow the category
- Collaborate remotely with internal stakeholders to align on commercial goals and category performance

What You’ll Bring
- Expert knowledge of Automobilia, particularly car parts
- Proven commercial experience with the ability to maximise sales opportunities
- Experience optimising auction strategy, including reserve pricing, sell-through rate, and cash flow
- Strong analytical skills to monitor performance, identify trends, and guide sellers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a remote environment
- A well-established network of dealers, collectors, curators, or experts within Automobilia communities
- Fluency in English, additional Dutch or German language skills are a plus
Where You’ll Be
This is a 100% remote role that can be based in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, or the United Kingdom.

Our Offices and Way of Working
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
