My clients specializing in gas control solutions. The company offers a comprehensive range of products designed to optimise gas usage, enhance safety, and improve patient safety, research applications, and welding and cutting performance across various industries.

Product Portfolio
My clients equipment provides a wide range of products tailored to meet the diverse needs of customers in healthcare, welding, cutting, and related processes. Leading heritage brands form part of this portfolio. Products include gas regulators, flow meters, suction equipment, gas manifolds, flashback arrestors, gas panels, software and accessories, designed to ensure precise control, regulation and distribution of industrial, medical, high purity and ultra-high purity gases in low, medium and high-pressure environments.

Position Overview
The Export Account Manager plays a critical role within the division and Group. The person in this role is responsible for driving the growth of clients global export business through the effective management, development and expansion of our international distributor network for the Suction Oxygen Therapy (SOT) portfolio.

Representing established medical brands the Commercial Manager will work closely with existing distributors to maximise sales performance, strengthen commercial relationships and increase market penetration across international territories.

Alongside developing existing distribution partners, the role will identify, evaluate and appoint new distributors in strategically important markets, creating sustainable routes to market and expanding Medical's global footprint.

Success in this role will be demonstrated through distributor growth, successful appointment of new international partners, increased market coverage and sustained export revenue growth. A strong understanding of international distribution models, export sales, channel management and healthcare markets will be essential.

A successful candidate will be recognised for their strategic thinking, ability to develop high-performing distributor relationships, identify new global opportunities and position clients SOT portfolio as the preferred solution across international healthcare markets.

Key Leadership Responsibilities

  • Ownership & Accountability: Take full responsibility for the performance and development of the international distributor network, ensuring commercial objectives and export sales targets are achieved.
  • Proactive Market Engagement: Stay ahead of international market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to identify areas for future distributor expansion.
  • Strategic Thinking: Identify new global growth opportunities and develop market entry strategies through distributor recruitment and channel development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, regulatory, operations and customer support teams to ensure distributors receive the support required for continued success.
  • Professional Development: Continuously develop expertise in international distribution, export sales, healthcare markets and regulatory requirements affecting global business.

  • Export Sales Growth: Demonstrate measurable success in increasing export revenue through both existing distributors and newly appointed partners.
  • Distributor Network Expansion: Successfully identify, appoint and develop high-quality distribution partners in priority international markets.
  • Distributor Performance: Build a high-performing international distributor network through regular engagement, business planning and performance management.
  • Market Influence & Brand Advocacy: Establish a strong reputation within international healthcare markets, acting as a key ambassador for client and its SOT portfolio.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise sales data, distributor performance metrics and market intelligence to continuously refine export strategies and improve commercial performance.

By delivering these leadership and performance objectives, the Commercial Manager will contribute to the sustained global growth of client through the continued expansion and development of its international distributor network.
