Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Export Admin Team Supervisor to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.
This is a newly created role within the Export Department so it’s an exciting opportunity to make your mark!
The Company
Would you like to work for one of the UK’s leading hand, power tool, and equipment distributors? Established since 1978, Sealey are the preferred choice for the trade within the automotive, agricultural, motorcycle, industrial and engineering market sectors.
Responsibilities
As our Export Admin Team Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and organise the flow of work through the Export Admin Team
- Build a positive team spirit amongst the Export Admin Team and lead them by example (currently 4 team members)
- Process and oversee export customer orders from start to finish
- Interact with a diverse global network of dealers and distributors
- Liaise with internal teams for timely and compliant export order despatch
- Work through daily problem solving and share key learning with the team.
- Occasionally attend overseas trade shows if required.

What we’re looking for
In our Export Admin Team Supervisor, we are looking for:
- To have a positive customer focused mindset and be proactive
- Previous experience working in an Export based role
- Previous supervisory experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be culturally aware with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and international customers
- To be highly organised, efficient and adaptable to change
- The ability to prioritise tasks, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy, including experience of Microsoft Office applications
