Job Description
The Export Business Developer is responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share within the assigned territories. He/She promotes the full range of Prevost products and solutions in alignment with the company's overall commercial strategy.
Reporting to the Export Sales Manager, you play a key role in identifying new markets, acquiring new B2B customers, and supporting distributors in their business development.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Define and implement an export business development strategy in line with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify, analyse, and develop new markets and B2B opportunities across sectors such as industrial supply, automotive, construction, and related industries.
- Increase market share and promote the full Prevost product portfolio within your assigned territory.
- Execute the Commercial Action Plan established by the Export Sales Manager.

Customer Relationship Management
- Recommend products and solutions tailored to customers' needs and applications.
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including purchasing managers, technical managers, distributors, and end users.
- Train and support distributors through trade fairs, product demonstrations, customer visits, and end-user presentations.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while developing long-term business partnerships.
Internal Support and Communication
- Work closely with the Sales Administration team to ensure the accurate communication and validation of quotations, offers, and customer information.
- Provide the Quotation Team with all relevant technical information (drawings, technical specifications, tender documents, customer requirements, etc.) required to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments to support customer projects and business opportunities.

Reporting and CRM Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the Prevost CRM system, including customer contacts, meetings, visit reports, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Provide regular reporting on commercial activity, business performance, and market developments within the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Minimum Higher National Diploma (HND), Foundation Degree, or equivalent qualification in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar B2B business development role, ideally within the compressed air industry, industrial sector, automotive, or construction markets.
- Good general understanding of industrial technologies and applications.
- Strong results-driven mindset combined with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to analyse markets, identify growth opportunities, and develop business strategies accordingly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and support distributors effectively.
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills would be an advantage depending on the assigned territories.
