Export Coordinator Required!
Our client is an established freight and logistics provider, specialising in end-to-end multimodal transport services.
On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Export Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete export process, from bookings and documentation to customs, while coordinating with customers, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure shipments are timely and efficient.
Package
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE) Company Pension 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Export Coordinator – Responsibilities
Manage export shipments across airfreight and seafreight operations Communicate with customers, hauliers, carriers, and overseas agents Arrange bookings with shipping lines and airlines Coordinate collections, ensuring vessel and flight deadlines are met Complete export customs declarations and associated documentation Prepare export documentation, manifests, and certificates of origin where required Liaise with warehouses to confirm screening and check weighing have been completed Finalise documentation and confirm vessels and flights have been met Issue invoices and send pre-alerts to overseas agents Follow up post-delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and identify further opportunities

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in export operations in a SME environment Experience handling airfreight and seafreight exports Strong understanding of export documentation and country-specific requirements Experience completing customs declarations Working knowledge of CNS and Destin8 systems High level of attention to detail and organisational skills Strong team player with a proactive approach
