About the Role
Managing the full B2B export lifecycle, you will ensure:
- Timely and accurate order fulfilment for global customers
- Compliance with international regulations across operations
- Smooth collaboration between export teams and other departments
The ideal candidate will build strong cross-functional relationships, enhance communication, and contribute to exceptional customer service across borders. This role offers diverse projects, creative problem-solving, and the chance to grow within a passionate and progressive team.
Directly reporting to the Export Lead, your core responsibilities include liaising with customers, vendors, and colleagues while ensuring seamless international operations—order processing, transport bookings, customer support, and data-driven improvements.
Responsibilities

Order Management:
- Coordinate end-to-end export orders, from entry to delivery
- Process customer quotes, execute sales orders and transfer shipments
- Contact and manage vendors, freight forwarders, and warehouse shipping teams

Regulatory and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate export documentation (commercial invoices, certificates of origin, health certificates, packing lists)
- Maintain compliance with export laws and work with the Compliance Manager
- Track and report all shipments (freight bookings, tracking, and customer updates)

Customer and Operations Support:
- Serve as the main point of contact for international clients and internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance)
- Handle returns inquiries (SRO creation), invoicing adjustments, and customer bill queries

Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Analyse KPIs and reports to identify operational efficiencies
- Streamline workflows for continuous improvement
- Develop and implement creative solutions to daily challenges

Onboarding & Transitions:
- Mystrategise and manage the smooth onboarding of new export customers
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance for seamless transitions across the board
What You Need to Succeed
To thrive in this dynamic role, bring:
Experience & Expertise
- Proven track record in export operations or B2B supply chain/logistics, especially in FMCG
- Strong compliance knowledge in international trade, customs regulations, and export documentation
- ERP system proficiency ( familiar with relevant software for order processing and logistics)
Personal Attributes
- Detail-oriented with high organisation to manage complex export documentation
- Problem-solving mindset—turn obstacles into opportunities
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written) to navigate global challenges
- Excellent customer service orientation and ability to resolve conflicts professionally
- Analytical approach to track KPIs and optimise processes
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
- Grounds experience with PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word for documentation needs
