About the Role
We are recruiting for an Export Solutions Operator based in Cannock.
As a Road Export Operator, you’ll manage and coordinate road freight export shipments from booking thorough to final delivery. Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring shipments are executed efficiently, compliantly, and aligned with customer requirements
- Maintaining high service standards through strong communications with clients, hauliers, and internal teams

Key Responsibilities
- Shipment Coordination: Manage daily export planning for trailer utilisation and route optimisation, balancing cost, efficiency, and customs compliance
- Booking & Documentation: Process receipts, negotiate haulier rates, and liaise with vendors and partners
- Customs & Compliance:
- Prepare, verify, and submit export documentation (CMR bills, invoices, packing lists, customs forms, etc.)
- Ensure data accuracy in systems with meticulous record-keeping
- Administrative Support:
- General housekeeping (filing, query resolution, lodging PODs/claims)

- Participate in training to stay updated on compliance protocols
- Adapt to evolving business needs, taking ownership of additional duties as required

What You’ll Bring
Experience & Skills
- Preferred: Practical experience in export road freight operations
- Essential:
- Strong organisation, administrative skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accurate data management
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration
- Proactive problem-solving with a strategic approach under pressure
- Business/Areactive Systems: Familiarity with ETSF customs warehousing or ASM Sequoia systems
- Technical Proficiency:
- GCSE-equivalent in English and Math
- Additional languages a benefit
- Complete fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

- Calm & Structured: Make confident decisions while remaining methodical
- Customer Focus: Deliver responsive, high-quality service to clients, hauliers, and internal teams
