Export Official Veterinarian (Sleaford Area) – Temporary (1 Year)

Our MRCVS opportunity is focused around Sleaford, working with some of the world’s biggest food brands and supporting local producers too. As an Export Official Veterinarian, you’ll help facilitate the safe and legal export of UK food and animal products by ensuring Export Health Certificates (EHCs) are correctly completed and compliance requirements are met.

If you’re an organised, detail-focused professional with strong communication skills, this is the ideal chance to expand your experience.


Location & Working Hours

  • Bases: Moy Park (2SFG) and other export sites in the area (Sleaford)
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends + night shifts

  • Certification Process:
    • Review EHC requirements, guidance, and current legislation, gathering all necessary supporting documentation.
    • Inspect export vehicles, goods, packaging, and labelling for compliance.
  • Documentation & Evidence:
    • Collect photographic evidence of the export process, as specified in the booking form, and upload it to the designated IT space.
    • Capture and document the sealing of containers with evidence photos.
  • Finalisation & Distribution:
    • Accurately complete the EHC within agreed deadlines.
    • Email certified copies to all necessary parties via email.

Entry Requirements

  • Qualifications:
    • Fully registered with the RCVS.
    • Undergraduate degree in Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent).
  • Licence:
    • Full UK driving licence (or equivalent).

A one-year position with potential for extension if performance is outstanding.
