Audit Advisor

Glasgow (Hybrid)
Our Glasgow audit team is growing fast and exceeding budget expectations, driven by rising client demand. We're hiring an Audit Advisor to support this growth and help deliver high-quality audits across a varied client portfolio spanning commercial, charity, and owner-managed businesses.

The Role

  • Deliver audits end-to-end, from planning through to completion
  • Lead fieldwork and coordinate engagement delivery, managing expectations and flagging issues early
  • Act as the primary client contact on-site during fieldwork
  • Attend and contribute to planning and clearance meetings
  • Review draft accounts and resolve client queries
  • Lead, coach, and coordinate Analysts and Assistants, retaining overall accountability for delivery
  • Manage multiple audits simultaneously, hitting deadlines and quality standards
  • Build commercial awareness of WIP, recoveries, fee quotes, and scope management
  • Identify opportunities for other service lines to support clients

About You

  • ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent — newly qualified to approximately 2 years PQE
  • External audit background essential, ideally from a practice environment
  • Confident operating as the lead client contact
  • Experience supervising or coaching junior team members
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities to tight deadlines
  • IFRS/UK GAAP exposure, charity sector experience, or mid-market client experience are a plus
