Job Description
What's in it for you?
Octopus Real Estate is looking for a Regional Business Development Manager, covering the East of London, including Norfolk, Colchester and Kent. An External Business Development Managers (EBDMs) must be highly motivated, articulate, passionate people who thrive whilst working in a fast-paced sales team. You will be responsible for the delivery of lending targets across a defined region, managing all introducer accounts for that region. You will be provided with a high degree of autonomy, established funding lines, and an excellent financial reward (with discretionary quarterly and annual bonus payments). Supported with a bespoke training programme to give you all the tools required to succeed. This role comes with excellent growth opportunities within a busy and exciting team.
The team
The team is well established, and aims to provide a level of technical expertise with a personal service that is unrivalled in the financial services industry. You will be responsible for the delivery of lending targets across a defined region. Our EBDMs are not just best in class, they are expected to deliver world class service to their brokers and clients.

What you'll be doing?
Achieve and exceed sales targets as set by the Head of Sales.
Be the focal point for all brokers and clients within your region.
Assist the internal business development team in chasing new enquiries and pipeline applications.
Hold face to face meetings with brokers and clients.
Please note this role will be based working from home, with a requirement to travel to our London offices at least once a week (expenses covered).
Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll have:
✔️A thorough understanding of the UK property finance industry. You will have existing relationships in the property broker market with the ability to build and maintain your own panel.
✔️Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
✔️ A car, and able to travel around the region
✔️Committed to providing 1st class customer service.
✔️Experience working for a property lender in a business development role.
