We’re building an External CFO Network - a small, curated community of senior finance leaders we can get to know over time.
This is not a live role and not an application process. It’s an “always-on” way to connect with high-calibre finance talent who may be open to future CFO, Deputy CFO or CFO-track opportunities across Liberty Global and our portfolio. We are looking to build connections with outstanding finance leaders, in advance of a specific search.
Our story
Our diversity is our strength. We each work in local cultures and communities, but we are united by our values. From Capital Allocation & Business Control to Treasury to Tax to Business Integration to Audit, together we’re growing an outstanding finance organization where we are developing well-rounded, world- class finance professionals. We believe our greatest asset is our people and our 2024 hiring is critical to continuing our growth and realising our ambitions. We’re at our best when our processes are streamlined and simple, which we can leverage through efficiencies and automation, enabled by our global scale.
Who We’re Keen To Meet
We’d love to connect with finance leaders who bring a blend of:
Strong performance and trajectory, with evidence of breadth and stretch across roles and environments Value creation mindset, commercial instincts, and an ownership mentality Ability to influence through relationships and manage complex stakeholder landscapes Storytelling — building a narrative and landing it with conviction, tailored to the audience Experience spanning some combination of industry, consulting, investment banking, fintech/tech, or adjacent sectors (we value variety of context and pattern recognition)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
