JOB TITLE: External Channel Account Manager - North UK
IT Hardware Distributor
SALARY: £45,000-£60,000 base salary plus OTE/ Commission DOE
LOCATION: Remote - Covering North of UK
Benefits: Pension, Holiday, Social Events
We are working with a leading specialist IT Distributor based in Birmingham. They focus on IT Networking and Computing hardware solutions.
Due to growth, we are looking to hire 2 experienced External Channel Account Managers to manage a number of key Reseller/ VAR accounts across the UK. You’ll have the support of their thriving internal sales team. Your overall responsibility is to recruit, manage, grow, and recruit new IT reseller partners driving business growth through customer acquisition and expansion.
Job Specification: External Channel Account Manager/ Reseller Account Manager
You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing existing Reseller partnerships and identifying new business and opportunities within the IT reseller market.

In addition, you’ll be responsible for the following:
- Growing a network of reseller partners.
- Identifying and qualifying potential IT resellers, MSPs (Managed Service Providers), VARs (Value Added Resellers), and IT etailers.
- Staying current with new vendors and participate in scheduled training sessions.
- Promoting the full range of company products and services.
- Forecasting and reporting.
- Utilising CRM tools.
- Working closely with various departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and enhanced market share.
Requirements: External Channel Account Manager/ Reseller Account Manager
For this position we are looking for individuals who have sound experience and knowledge working with IT Resellers/ VARS as well as solid sales experience.
Ideally you will have come from an IT Distributor or have worked in IT Distribution before, the pace and scale of working in distribution is fast, so understanding this is key.

You’ll need to have great customer rapport alongside a target-driven, hungry attitude and drive.
If you have worked for an IT Reseller/ IT MSP or IT Distributor that will be a huge advantage.
You’ll need strong customer service skills, great communication skills, and be able to work to targets and KPIs.
