In this role, you’ll bring your expertise to a global environment where we develop Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), particularly 3M Fall Protection products.
The Impact You’ll Make
As a Certification and Conformance Regulatory Affairs Associate, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance for Slovakia’s Banska Bystrica Plant and beyond. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing EN/CE certification for 3M Fall Protection products, ensuring full compliance with applicable standards.
- Identifying regulatory requirements for assigned PPE portfolios across Slovakia, Poland, Czechia, and the UK.
- Preparing and submitting regulatory documentation for product certification schemes, maintaining records in divisional and corporate systems.
- Collaborating with test labs, notified bodies, and agencies to streamline certifications, accelerate submissions, and conduct site audits for product conformity.
- Providing regulatory compliance input during new product development and post-market assessments, working closely with business stakeholders, quality, and manufacturing.
- Staying current with standards, regulations, and directives relating to PPE and fall protection.

Your Skills and Expertise
Minimum Requirements
For immediate success, we seek candidates who meet the following:
- Fluent in English and Slovak (required)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (verified)
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs, PPE, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, or related fields (e.g., environmental compliance, general manufacturing, or quality assurance)
- Knowledge of certification standards and regulations for chemicals, pharmaceuticals, medtech, and fall protection
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates who excel will also bring:
- Experience in multinational companies and cross-border regulatory processes
- Strong people skills, ability to build internal/external networks, and confident communication
- Analytical problem-solving in compliance-focused environments
- Sharp attention to detail, project management, and prioritization
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment with escalating accountability
Job Details
- Location: Choose from:
- Slovakia (Banska Bystrica or Bratislava)
- Poland (Kajetany or Wrocław)
- United Kingdom (Bracknell)
- Czechia (Prague)
- Work Patterns:
- On-site (4/5 days per week)
- Travel optional but possible (up to 30% for collaboration with the Banska Bystrica plant or other stakeholders)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Relocation: Not provided
- Salary Range (Slovakia only)
€1,500 – €2,800 gross/month (based on experience), plus:
- Annual Incentive Plan bonus
- Excellent benefits package
