Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will work closely with client representatives to understand their requirements, develop scopes of work, and agree on costs and delivery plans. A core aspect of the role is ensuring works are well planned, appropriately resourced, and delivered safely, compliantly, and on time, while providing confidence and assurance to the client throughout the process. You may also support the CBRE Projects team by assisting with the coordination and supervision of works at client sites.

Where schemes involve more than two contractors, you will act as Principal Designer, enabling effective coordination of responsibilities and recovery of a proportion of your time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with client representatives through regular communication and effective coordination
  • Liaise with CBRE-approved contractors to develop value-for-money, well-planned solutions that meet client expectations
  • Plan and coordinate works in collaboration with client staff to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality delivery
  • Organize and manage programmes of works, ensuring activities are clearly defined, sequenced, and communicated
  • Ensure appropriate RAMS, method statements, and risk assessments are in place in line with H&S legislation and CBRE QHSE guidelines
  • Oversee works on site, providing reassurance to the client and ensuring standards, safety, and compliance are maintained
  • Monitor contractor performance, quality, and QHSE compliance throughout delivery
  • Report to and support the Extra Works Manager, Project Manager, and Contract Manager, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and delivery status
