EYFS Learning Assistant Level 2 – Southgate Primary School
Southgate Primary School are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Assistant Level 2 to join our early years team and help create a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can thrive.
Your Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development through play, ensuring their safety and well-being, and making a meaningful difference in their early educational journey.
Working closely with our EYFS Leader and team, you will play a key role in:
- Delivering high-quality learning experiences
- Supporting individual children as a key worker
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive school community
What We're Looking For
- A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above)
- Completion of a Level 2 childcare qualification (Level 3 would be desirable but not essential)
- Up-to-date safeguarding training
- A good understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- A dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards helping students reach their full potential

The Details
- Start Date: 1st September 2026
- Salary: GLF Associate 2 – £23,914 (actual starting salary: £20,715.94)
- Hours: Term Time Only (39 Weeks)
- Contract: 36.25hrs per week
- Closing Date: 12th July 2026
