Job Description: EYFS Phase Lead

A welcoming and ambitious primary school is seeking an experienced and passionate EYFS Teacher to join their leadership team as EYFS Phase Lead from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Early Years practitioner looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have strong experience teaching within EYFS
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • Be confident leading and supporting an EYFS team
  • Have a creative and engaging teaching approach
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

The Role Will Include

  • Leading the EYFS phase across Nursery and Reception
  • Supporting curriculum development and planning
  • Monitoring pupil progress and attainment
  • Mentoring and supporting staff within the phase
  • Working closely with senior leadership to continue driving standards across Early Years
