EYFS Teacher: Independent Special School: September Start: Harrow
Are you a passionate EYFS teacher looking to make a lasting difference in a specialist educational setting?
An established independent special school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS teacher to join its Early Years team from September. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced EYFS teacher who is committed to supporting children with moderate to complex learning needs during the most important stages of their educational development.

Key Responsibilities
As An EYFS Teacher, You Will
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Early Years learning experiences.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support pupils with moderate to complex learning needs to achieve their individual targets.
- Foster communication, independence and social development alongside academic learning.
- Monitor, assess and celebrate pupil progress.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Build positive relationships with families and carers.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Early Years provision.
The Ideal Candidate
The Successful EYFS Teacher Will Possess
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent UK classroom teaching experience within the Early Years phase.
- A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Experience supporting pupils with moderate to complex learning needs.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for every learner.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
