EYFS Teacher – Islington

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Islington from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing children with the very best start to their educational journey through engaging, child-centred learning.

The school is a well-established and highly regarded primary setting serving a diverse local community. It is recognised for its nurturing ethos, inclusive approach, and commitment to ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed. Staff work collaboratively to deliver a creative and engaging curriculum, placing children's wellbeing, curiosity, and personal development at the heart of everything they do. The school also benefits from strong partnerships with parents and carers and places great importance on developing confident, independent learners.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage, creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, and academically through purposeful play and structured learning opportunities.

This role will commence in September 2026 and continue until July 2027, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated and supportive Early Years team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
  • Support children's communication, language, literacy, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Assess, monitor, and record children's progress, using assessment effectively to inform planning and next steps.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues to support children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Promote children's confidence, independence, and positive behaviour through high-quality interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Early Years team to deliver an outstanding learning experience.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support whole-school initiatives where appropriate.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
