Project Manager – Formula 1

Salary: From £45,000

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Banbury, UK / International Travel

About Live Wire:

For over 10 years, Live Wire has delivered technology, AV, and immersive experiences across Formula 1 and major live events worldwide. Supporting leading F1 teams and Formula 1 Management across all 24 races, our work spans hospitality suites, paddocks, garages, pit walls, fan zones, and factory environments.

Alongside motorsport, we deliver technical production and live event solutions across concerts, festivals, theatre, conferences, and venues including the Southbank Centre and Barbican. Based in Banbury, we are a fast-growing company working in some of the most demanding and exciting live production environments in the world.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in live events, motorsport, sporting events, agency environments, or other fast-paced international delivery settings. The successful candidate will thrive in high-pressure environments, manage multiple concurrent projects, and confidently coordinate across technical, operational, and client-facing teams.

This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage projects through all stages of delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest operational standards while maintaining clear communication across clients, suppliers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

  • Manage projects from planning through to on-site delivery and post-event review
  • Produce detailed project plans including schedules, staffing requirements, equipment lists, logistics planning, and operational timelines
  • Coordinate project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track
  • Produce accurate project updates, schedules, reports, and delivery documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure clear communication across internal departments, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
