About Live Wire

For the past 10 years, Live Wire has worked across Formula 1, supplying technology and technical expertise to many of the leading Formula 1 teams and Formula One Management. Our work ranges from delivering immersive viewing experiences within team hospitality suites, paddock environments, garages and factory installations, supporting all 24 races around the world.

We work closely with our clients and technology partners to deliver innovative solutions, continually pushing the boundaries of event technology and technical production.

Beyond Formula 1, Live Wire provides AV technology, technical production, equipment and specialist personnel across a wide range of events including festivals, concerts, conferences, theatre and corporate productions. We work with prestigious venues including the Southbank Centre, Barbican and Sadler's Wells, delivering exceptional technical solutions and support.

As Live Wire continues to grow globally, we are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Production Manager to play a key leadership role within the business.

The Role

The Senior Technical Production Manager is responsible for leading the planning, delivery and continual improvement of high-profile Formula 1, corporate and live event projects.

Working closely with clients, Project Managers, Operations, Finance and Technical Teams, you will take ownership of complex projects from concept through to execution and post-event review. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on budget and to the highest technical standards.

This role combines strategic planning, client management, financial accountability and technical leadership. You will act as a senior representative of the business, developing strong client relationships, mentoring team members and driving operational excellence across all areas of project delivery.

The successful candidate will be commercially aware, highly organised and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where attention to detail and proactive decision-making are critical.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the planning and delivery of multiple concurrent projects across Formula 1, corporate and live events.
  • Oversee all aspects of technical production, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, production schedules, resource plans and technical specifications.
  • Ensure project milestones, deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise operational and financial impact.
  • Lead post-event reviews, ensuring lessons learned and continual improvements are captured and implemented.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
