F1 Trackside Support & Operations Analyst

Aramco is one of the world's largest integrated energy and chemicals companies. Aramco Europe is headquartered in The Hague with offices across the continent.

For over 60 years we have supported Aramco with a wide range of activities from facilitating safe and reliable delivery of energy to customers around the globe to pushing for breakthroughs in research and innovation.

Our services include in-depth technology advice and support in established and emerging sectors of oil, gas and energy, as well as finance, HR, legal, PR and communications. We work with the very best industry suppliers to drive our operations to secure our position as a world leader in energy and chemicals.

Job Purpose

The F1 Trackside & Operations Support Analyst is a hybrid operational role providing logistics, operational, and trackside technical support to the Aramco and Valvoline Formula One™ fuels and lubricants program supporting the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team.

Operating under defined procedures and with guidance from senior logistics planners and trackside researchers, the role executes assigned activities supporting the delivery, integrity, compliance, and performance monitoring of fuels, lubricants, consumables, and associated equipment across factory operations, global race events, and testing activities.

The position acts as an operational backup to both the F1 Logistics Planner and the F1 Trackside Researcher, supporting continuity through preparation, coordination, data handling, and on-site support. The role applies judgment to prioritize tasks, identify deviations, and resolve routine operational issues, escalating non-routine, high-risk, or regulatory-critical matters to senior colleagues.

Working in a fast-paced Formula One™ environment, the role manages multiple interrelated tasks within established frameworks, safety requirements, and compliance standards. Decision-making is focused on accurate and timely execution within agreed plans rather than ownership of end-to-end strategy or final technical or regulatory accountability. The role combines office-based support with selective trackside attendance and is designed to build capability toward progression into more senior logistics or trackside technical roles.

Responsibilities

Trackside Operations and Technical Support Provide trackside operational and technical support during selected Formula One events, assisting with the handling, sampling, and basic analysis of fuels and lubricants. Support event preparation, laboratory setup, equipment checks, and pack-down, ensuring safety, compliance, and readiness. Assist with verification of fluid delivery, storage, handling, and traceability, and support post-event inventory reconciliation and return logistics. Escalate technical, safety, or regulatory concerns where required.

Logistics Planning and Operational Support Support the planning and coordination of global logistics for fuels, lubricants, consumables, and equipment across race events, testing, and factory operations. Maintain shipment plans, inventory records, and tracking data. Prepare shipping documentation in line with trade compliance, customs, and dangerous goods requirements. Liaise with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and resolve routine issues.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
