Fabric Engineer

Within our Facilities Management division, the Southwest Core team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites.
The Role: FM Service Manager
Within the team, you will be expected to provide comprehensive repairs and maintenance to a range of commercial installations. The primary focus of this role is to deliver a high-quality and statutory compliant maintenance service to MoD property and assets, including the operation, repair and maintenance of Building Fabric repairs.
Responsibilities
- Respond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible and scope quotes for repair where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Carry out all planned building / fabric maintenance tasks as per program and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.
- Ensure that the site is kept in good decorative order internally and externally to the given specification and ensure timely completion.
- Work within all Health and Safety criteria and processes relevant to work activities.
- Show a proactive approach to Health & Safety in the work environment and take the necessary steps to ensure risks are mitigated.
- Maintain high standards of customer care as a client-facing representative.
- Be flexible and undertake other reasonable duties to accommodate operational requirements.
- Understand your responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider group, whilst promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout.

Requirements
- Good standard education.
- NVQ Level 2 or above in a building services/trade discipline or equivalent.
