Fabric Engineer
Location: Liverpool
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x and 2x standard hourly rate
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 Days / 2 Nights) | 7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am
Winner Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider for a Fabric Engineer to join a busy, high-profile commercial site in Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in fabric maintenance, handyman duties, general building maintenance, or labouring who is looking to join a well-established business with excellent overtime opportunities.
The Role
As a Fabric Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard, supporting the wider engineering team with both planned and reactive maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests within the boilerhouse.
- Carrying out general painting and decorating to maintain the facility.
- Completing routine statutory monitoring and recording utility readings.
- Maintaining accurate shift logs and maintenance records.
- General cleaning and housekeeping within the boilerhouse.
- Assisting Mechanical and Electrical Engineers with planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Answering maintenance calls and responding to site requests.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations.
- Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor with any additional maintenance tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Handyman, Maintenance Operative, Caretaker, Building Maintenance Operative, or similar.
- General fabric maintenance skills, including basic repairs and painting & decorating.
- Experience working within commercial, industrial, or other high-profile environments.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider maintenance team.
- Full UK driving licence.
