The Fabric Sourcing Partner is responsible for developing and delivering commercially competitive fabric solutions that support the brand’s product strategy, balancing cost, sustainability, speed, quality, and innovation.

Working closely with Design, Buying & Technical, the role ensures the right fabrics are sourced from the right suppliers, at the right price and lead time, enabling the business to react quickly to market trends while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabric Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Source innovative fabrics that align with seasonal trends and commercial requirements.
  • Build and manage relationships with global mills and fabric suppliers in Turkey, China, India & Bangladesh.
  • Negotiate fabric prices, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and lead times to support margin targets.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers to support speed-to-market and volume growth.

Product Development

  • Collaborate with Design & Buying to source fabrics meeting aesthetic, performance, and price needs.
  • Recommend fabric alternatives to improve margins, lead times, or sustainability.
  • Drive fabric innovation through new developments, finishes, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Support seasonal trend research via supplier visits, trade fairs, and market analysis.
  • Partner with Technical teams to ensure fabrics meet performance, testing, and compliance standards.
  • Increase adoption of preferred sustainable fibres and lower-impact fabric options.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
