The Vacancy
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Fabric Technician to join our Facilities Management team at the prestigious Warner Bros. Discovery site in Chiswick.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a high-performing team responsible for maintaining a large, vibrant and dynamic workplace environment. As a Fabric Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the building and its facilities remain safe, functional and presented to the highest standards, delivering an exceptional experience for our client and building users.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the site.
- Undertake a range of building repairs including carpentry, painting and decorating, basic plumbing, patch plastering, flooring and general building works.
- Complete routine inspections of building fabric and identify defects or areas requiring attention.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Support move management activities, office reconfigurations and minor project works.
- Assist with ensuring statutory compliance and site health and safety standards are maintained.
- Liaise professionally with site stakeholders, colleagues and subcontractors.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and job updates using CAFM systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help maintain a first-class working environment.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Fabric Technician, Handyperson, Building Maintenance or similar role within a Facilities Management or commercial environment.
- Multi-skilled fabric maintenance capability with strengths in areas such as carpentry, decorating and general building repairs.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a workplace environment.
- Ability to diagnose issues and carry out repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Flexible, proactive and committed to delivering excellent service.
