About the Role

WPS is recruiting multiple skilled Fabric Technicians to join our Facilities Management team on the prestigious Landmark contract in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a high-profile, corporate FM environment, delivering first-class building fabric maintenance and compliance support.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the fabric of the buildings is maintained to the highest standards, supporting day-to-day operations and maintaining a safe, professional environment for our client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the contract
  • Undertake general building maintenance including:
    • Basic carpentry, patch plastering, painting & decorating
    • Tiling, door and window repairs
    • Flooring, ceiling and minor brickwork repairs
  • Support compliance and statutory requirements
  • Identify and report defects, completing works efficiently and safely
  • Liaise professionally with site teams, contractors, and clients
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety standards and Wates policies
  • Accurately complete job records and documentation

About You

  • Proven experience as a Fabric Technician / Multi-Skilled Operative within Facilities Management or a similar environment
  • Strong all-round building maintenance knowledge
  • Experience working within commercial or corporate buildings (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Awareness of health & safety regulations
  • Relevant trade qualifications or time-served experience preferred
