Fabric Technician (On-site)
Location: On-site – Rolls-Royce, Bristol, GBR
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

As a Fabric Technician at JLL, you’ll contribute directly to clients’ projects, including historic and modern commercial properties, while ensuring safety and quality compliance in the UK.
What This Role Involves
You’ll collaborate across our global network to deliver projects with cross-functional teams, leveraging both technical expertise and innovation. JLL values empowerment—here, you’ll thrive as part of a supportive, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct exterior and interior inspections of buildings to assess maintenance needs, adhering to UK safety regulations.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for structural elements, façades, and interiors.
- Coordinate repair and renovation projects, ensuring full compliance with UK building codes and industry standards.
- Partner with other departments to address client concerns and improve property performance.
- Compile detailed condition reports, making data-driven recommendations to enhance safety and value.
- Oversee contractors and vendors, ensuring high standards of workmanship in building maintenance.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in construction technology and sustainable practices relevant to the UK market.

Requirements
To succeed as our Fabric Technician, bring the following skills and experience:
- Relevant experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar trade in the UK.
- Strong familiarity with UK standards:
- Building materials, techniques, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications effectively.
- Proven problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel for reporting).
- Knowledge of UK-specific building management software.
- Collaboration-focused mindset to drive innovative solutions with local and global teams.
