Are you a time-served Fabricator ready to 'down tools' and transition your expertise into a rewarding training career? This is a highly sought-after Trainee Tutor position. We require your engineering knowledge; we will provide ALL the training and qualifications needed to succeed as an instructor.
HIGH STARTING SALARY: Begin earning up to £39,000 immediately.
FULLY FUNDED TRAINING: All training and assessor qualifications will be provided and funded by the employer.
4-DAY CONDENSED WORKING WEEK with Fridays off!

The Role: Coaching the Next Generation
Based in Darlington, this hands-on role involves delivering training and assessment in metal fabrication, helping apprentices develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to succeed in the industry.
Delivery: Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of metal fabrication qualifications.
Mentorship: Provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to learners in the training centre.
Focus: Training apprentices in line with relevant awarding body standards.
Environment: Work in a rewarding, self-motivated team environment that values a 'hands-on approach.'

Essential Requirements (Your Experience is Your Qualification!)
We are looking for proven occupational experience in the field of Metal Fabrication.
- Occupational Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within Metal Fabrication.
- Technical Qualification: A relevant metal fabrication qualification and/or valid Skill Card.
- Soft Skills: Good communication, presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, rewarding environment.
- Compliance: This position is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance.
