Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team in Salford. The ideal candidate will be experienced in metal fabrication techniques, possess a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contribute to the fabrication process from start to finish, and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.

Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately. Use a range of tools and equipment, including cutting, bending, and welding machinery, to shape and assemble materials. Ensure the quality and precision of fabricated components through careful measurement and inspection. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to optimize production processes and meet project deadlines. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role, with expertise in metal fabrication techniques. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Strong practical skills in using fabrication tools and equipment, such as welding machines, grinders, and drills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Relevant qualifications or certifications in fabrication and welding (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are advantageous but not essential.
