Role Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately.
- Use a range of tools and equipment, including cutting, bending, and welding machinery, to shape and assemble materials.
- Ensure the quality and precision of fabricated components through careful measurement and inspection.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to optimize production processes and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, always adhering to health and safety guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in fabrication of pressure vessels or similar heavy industrial equipment in a range of materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Skilled in the use of overhead cranes, grinders and other shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Maintaining material traceability during assembly.
- Working in accordance with Quality/Health & Safety Procedures and processes, and adherence to legislation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
