Job Description:
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team at LTS, based just outside Maghaberry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication, including experience with power tools and Tig welding techniques. This role requires the ability to work with various materials. As a Metal Fabricator, you will play a crucial part in assembling and fabricating metal components for our projects.
Duties
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques to join metal pieces securely.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.

Requirements
- Proven experience in metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
- Strong knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
- Experience in welding, specifically Tig welding methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
