We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their growing team on a permanent day shift. About the Role
As a Fabricator Welder, you'll be responsible for manufacturing high-quality structural steel components used across a variety of construction and industrial projects. Working from engineering drawings, you'll fabricate, assemble, and weld steelwork to exact specifications while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble structural steel sections, including UBs, UCs, PFCs, and CHSs.
- Carry out cutting, grinding, and welding to project specifications.
- Operate fabrication machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all fabricated work meets dimensional and quality standards.
- Safely operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE at all times.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and welding.
- The ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Strong fabrication, welding, and metalworking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A proactive approach to health and safety.
- A recognized fabrication or welding qualification is desirable but not essential.
