The Role: Fabricator Welder
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team at our Andover site in a permanent, full-time role (Mon–Thu, 07:00 – 16:45).
As a Fabricator Welder, you will:
- Join metal components using MAG welding techniques.
- Cut and weld materials based on technical drawings designed by our Rail Design Team.
- Work to ensure high-quality standards before products progress.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret product drawings to ensure jobs adhere to specifications.
- Deliver defect-free projects, prioritising both quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate within a flexible team, adapting to meet business and operational demands.
- Maintain full safety compliance and uphold housekeeping standards.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Proven welding experience (MAG techniques preferred).
- Ability to read and apply technical drawings.
- Proficiency in finishing work (polishing, fine tolerances).
- Familiarity with Oxy-Acetylene heating equipment and digital bevel gauges.
- Commitment to a "right first time" (RFT) approach and continuous improvement.
