Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Façade Engineer / Senior Façade Engineer to join our team in London or one of our regional UK offices. We are looking for a technically capable individual with good verbal, graphical and written communication skills. The role involves delivering façade engineering services across a varied portfolio of projects, from remedial surveys and inspections through to new‑build developments of up to £100m. Successful candidates will be confident in client liaison and design team coordination, and will take a proactive approach to solving technical challenges. You will contribute to the continued growth of a collaborative and dynamic façades team. Your role Lead the technical delivery of façade engineering services on single‑discipline and multidisciplinary projects Support and mentor junior team members Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development activities Contribute to bid preparation and work‑winning Engage with internal technical networks and promote façade engineering expertise across AtkinsRéalis About you Chartered Engineer or qualified Architect status preferred (or working towards professional qualification) Experience in façade design and detailing, or on projects where façades have been a key component Ability to work independently in at least three of the following areas: structural analysis, thermal analysis, embodied carbon assessment, specification writing, concept design, glazing and curtain walling design, production of detailed drawings, façade condition surveys, forensic investigations Experience managing resources and budgets, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills A collaborative, inquisitive mindset and the ability to work effectively under pressure Rewards & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
