- Duration: 4 years (fixed-term)

- Remuneration: Based on TV-Ärzte (Doctors’ Collective Agreement)

About the Department & Role
We are the UKM—a leading medical centre with a clear societal mandate. Our mission, combining patient care, research, and teaching, places high demands on our workforce. We are seeking a medical professional to join our Kinder- und Jugendpsychosomatik (Children and Adolescent Psychosomatic Medicine), which manages a 19-bed ward alongside a pädiatrisch-psychosomatische Hochschulambulanz.
This department treats a wide spectrum of diagnoses, including:
- Feeding and eating disorders in young children
- Elimination disorders
- Somatoform disorders
- Depression with pronounced physical symptoms
- Anxiety disorders
- Psychiatric comorbidities in chronic illnesses
- Chronic pain disorders
- Eating disorders
- Dissociative disorders

Our treatment approach is multidisciplinary, involving collaboration with pediatrics, nursing, education, psychology, physio-, ergo-, and speech therapy for patients aged 0–18 years.
Responsibilities
- Provide diverse clinical duties in both stationary and outpatient care for patients with psychosocial and psychotherapeutic needs.
- Support the acquisition of the specialization "Psychotherapy".
- Engage in collaboration with all pediatric departments and multi-disciplinary teams within the Children's Clinic.
Requirements
- Facharzt (gn) for Kinderheilkunde und Jugendmedizin* with broad clinical experience.
- Several years of experience in SPZ work (Sozialpädiatrisches Zentrum – Social Paediatric Centres) or Children and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Completed or commenced further training in psychotherapy.
- Strong motivation for teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Interest in personal and scientific further education as well as training staff and students.
- Engagement in scientific research.
