Facilitator
Facilitator (Employability Training) – Remote & Outreach-Based Role
Catch22 exists to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them, and a fulfilling purpose—our '3Ps'. We work in two ways: delivering public services to improve lives directly, and using our knowledge to change the systems that can trap and disempower those most in need.
Where you fit in
We’re running a future-focused skills programme for individuals aged 18+ with barriers to employment, delivered remotely and through outreach work. Based in our Employability division, this is a part-time role for an experienced facilitator who works in local communities to support participants in progressing towards apprenticeships, employment, education, and training opportunities.
We’re looking for proactive, compassionate professionals who are driven to improve social mobility by supporting vulnerable individuals access livelihoods. Given the nature of the role, deep knowledge and experience of the challenges faced by marginalised groups is essential.
We actively seek a diverse workforce, welcoming candidates from a range of backgrounds. However, we require an individual who is organised, resilient, and adaptable—capable of adapting to the diverse demands of the role.
Main Duties & Accountabilities
- Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions, ensuring content is accessible and relevant to diverse audiences while embedding the latest sector insights and labour market trends.
- Stay informed on evolving recruitment practices and future workforce needs, ensuring training aligns with the skills employers value.
- Develop and ** embedded future-ready employability skills**—such as adaptability, problem-solving, collaboration, and digital literacy—into the programme.
- Incorporate insights from emerging UK sector developments (e.g., sustainability, digital innovation, and labour market changes) into learning content.
- Collaborate with the Training & Curriculum Manager to monitor and enhance programme effectiveness, using feedback to refine training, stay innovative, and align with career opportunities.
- Deliver existing training in an engaging, dynamic style.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
