The Role
As Facilities Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Facilities & Maintenance team, ensuring our stadium and training facilities operate efficiently behind the scenes. Working within the Group Property Services department, you'll provide high-quality administrative and systems support across facilities management, helping to deliver an outstanding environment for colleagues, contractors and visitors.
You'll manage and co-ordinate helpdesk requests through our CAFM system, raise purchase orders, maintain health and safety and compliance documentation, support contractor administration and reception operations, and produce reports that help drive informed decision-making. You'll also contribute to the ongoing development of our CAFM and reporting systems, while providing flexible support across Old Trafford, Carrington and our pitches department.

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records and building positive relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders across the club.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
