Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi-billion-pound global manufacturer, at their flagship UK site.
They are looking for an experienced Facilities and Site Services Engineer to oversee the effective operation of all site services, facilities and utilities.
Role and Responsibilities of the Facilities and Site Services Engineer
- Ensure safety, legislation compliance, reliability of all site services, facilities and utilities equipment
- Responsible for electrical infrastructure, extraction systems, HVAC, boilers, compressed air systems, gas distribution, water and fire suppression systems
- 50 hands-on: testing and fault finding on equipment
- 50 hands-off: managing contractors, suppliers, RCA, PPM plans
- Monitoring plant facilities performance, planning maintenance activities
- Site compliance management: PUWER, LOLER, Legionella
- Suggesting and making improvements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience need to be a Facilities and Site Services Engineer
- Looking an experienced senior facilities / site services engineer
- Happy to be hands-on resolving issues and hands-off managing compliance, contractors, suppliers
- Facilities compliance: LOLER, PUWER, Legionella
- HNC / HND qualified in facilities engineering
- Strong understanding of facilities engineering principles, both electrical and mechanical
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: dealing with contractors, internal teams, vendors
- Knowledge of compressed air systems, HVAC, industrial boilers, fire suppression systems
- Proactive person: able to think outside the box, identify issues, suggest improvements
- Beneficial if dealt with hydraulics, valves, gearboxes, drives
