Facilities and Workplace Supervisor
The facilities and workplace supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day workplace services, facilities, and mailroom functions at Kurt Geiger’s Britton Street office. Reporting to the Retail Facilities & Workplace Manager, this role is to support a safe, efficient, well-maintained environment for the head office team and visitors, always delivering excellent customer service.
Working hours for this role are 9:00 - 17:30.
Responsibilities
Facilities Management
- Oversee the daily operation of the workplace facilities services
- Carry out daily maintenance and housekeeping inspections
- Coordinate planned and preventive maintenance and reactive repairs
- Support with office moves, sample sales, showroom set up, and stock movement
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices using maintain X, adhering to finance procedures

Post Room Operations
- Oversee and support with the daily operation of the post room
- Ensuring all incoming and outgoing mail is processed accurately and timely
- Maintain accurate courier and service records
- Ensure that all sensitive mail is handled securely
- Continuously looking to improve the post room processes to increase efficiency and deliver an efficient service to the office team
Health & Safety
- Support with compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
- Carry out workplace inspections and risk assessments
- Report hazards and risks and follow up with corrective action
- Assist with weekly fire safety checks and drills, emergency drills, and contractor compliance
- Support with maintaining and updating the Ihasco training portal and Metro Safety Smart
Workplace
- Ensure that the kitchens, meeting rooms, and shared areas are maintained to a high standard
- Oversee reception and support when applicable
- Manage stationary supplies, office supplies, and workplace equipment and refreshment supplies
Team
- Supervise and support the post room team
- Allocate workloads and provide day-to-day guidance
- Support training and development of the post room team
- Build positive working relationships across all departments

Requirements
The Person:
- Experience of working within facilities and/or workplace environment
- Organisational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Problem-solving and effectively able to deal with maintenance and emergency issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience of liaising with contractors, suppliers, management, and team
- Demonstrate customer service skills
- Understanding of managing costs within a budget
- Understanding of Health and Safety at work
