St Leonard’s Hospice are recruiting a skilled and motivated person to join the Hospice’s Team as a Facilities Assistant.

The Facilities Team performs a crucial function in ensuring the Hospice estate, including the retail outlets, are kept safe with servicing, maintenance and repairs completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

The role incorporates a variety of tasks including:

  • Performing basic maintenance/ DIY/ painting tasks
  • Portering duties including some manual handling
  • Transporting patients and staff to appointments
  • Using our Facilities Management system to log tasks and procure items

By doing this role, you will meet and work with a range of colleagues across the organisation and genuinely be making a significant contribution.

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week between 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday and there will be a requirement to be a part of the facilities on-call rota.
