About Us
We are The Salad Project, London’s answer to healthy food and a fresh outlook on how we live, feel and eat. Our founders Florian and James opened the doors to our first store in the summer of 2021. Today, we are a twelve store operation, expanding across London.
Role
We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join our team as Facilities Assistant. This role requires a blend of hands-on DIY skills, strong administrative organisation and the drive to not stop at good. This is an entry level position where the curiosity to learn is key.
Role Responsibilities
Maintenance Management
- Manage and own our facilities software, organising maintenance call outs in a timely manner.
- Build relationships with our key contractors and suppliers.
- Oversee planned maintenance scheduling.
- React to emergencies and support our store teams on-site.
- Troubleshoot issues and complete basic maintenance tasks where possible.

Administrative Duties
- Provide training to staff on health and safety procedures, emergency processes, and proper equipment use.
- Manage administrative tasks to support the Head of Facilities.
- Support with new store openings & small projects.
- Recognise opportunities to raise the bar, elevating the ways of working and implementing new processes.
Experience
- Desire to learn in an environment where every day is different.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a variety of maintenance issues.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with contractors and team members.
- Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers & contractors.
