£50,000 per annum plus 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, bonus, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits including cycle to work scheme
About The Role
As a Facilities Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in the implementation, monitoring, and assurance of the facilities management compliance framework across our estate. You will work closely with the Facilities Client Contract Manager to ensure all facilities services meet our high standards, statutory requirements, and contractual obligations, providing independent assurance across both internal operations and outsourced providers.
As Part Of Your Key Responsibilities You’ll
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the FM compliance framework, ensuring policies and procedures are effectively embedded across all sites.
- Develop and deliver a structured programme of compliance audits and assurance reviews for internal FM operations and outsourced service providers.
- Identify and report on operational risks and performance gaps, tracking corrective actions through to resolution to ensure sites remain audit-ready.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to monitor compliance performance and provide regular insights to governance forums.
- Verify compliance for operational equipment (including MHE) and ensure adherence to statutory requirements such as LOLER, PUWER, and PSSR.
- Support assurance activities for new projects and change initiatives, validating that new assets are properly commissioned and compliant.

About You
We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role!
- A comprehensive grasp of FM compliance, industry best practices, and legal mandates, with the capacity to implement these operationally to improve performance.
- Experience in audit, assurance, or compliance roles, particularly within multi-site environments.
- Solid knowledge of facilities management operations, contractor management, and commercial contract management.
- An understanding of operational equipment compliance (including MHE).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and challenge constructively.
- The ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK estate as necessary.
