We are looking for a proactive, high-performing Facilities Manager to join the Property Operations team.

Our Facilities Managers lead the delivery of our admin estate as a safe, compliant and resilient service that colleagues can rely on; supported by clear ownership, strong governance and a culture focused on fixing issues at source.

As a high performing On Site Facilities Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of facilities and workplace services at Bothwell Street, ensuring a safe, compliant and high-quality environment that supports both colleague experience and operational performance.

Working alongside the property suppliers, you’ll help deliver Nationwide’s strategic objectives by maintaining a well-controlled, customer-focused workplace. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed standards, risks are identified and effectively managed, and performance is continuously improved.

You’ll act as a key interface between stakeholders and service partners, providing clarity, oversight and direction across all facilities activity. Through strong supplier liaison and engagement with internal teams, you’ll help to ensure service delivery is consistent, issues are proactively addressed, and the workplace experience supports colleagues to perform at their best.

You’ll also support governance and reporting, maintaining visibility of operational performance, compliance and risk across the site, and contributing to ongoing improvements that enhance both efficiency and colleague outcomes.

We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll spend each day based onsite at our Glasgow office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.

If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.

What you’ll be doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
