Overview of the role
Due to continued growth at Bestway Healthcare, we're looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team.
Reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of facilities, compliance, and investment services across our Wholesale estate. Acting as the first point of contact for facilities queries, you'll help ensure our sites remain safe, compliant, and fully operational by coordinating maintenance activities, liaising with contractors and stakeholders, and supporting the efficient delivery of planned and reactive works.
You'll also help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for facilities queries, managing issues raised through the helpdesk through to resolution or escalation.
- Coordinate with contractors and our helpdesk provider to ensure maintenance requests and records are kept up to date.
- Raise purchase orders, obtain contractor quotations, and support the approval process.
- Prepare invoices and monthly payment batches for review and approval.
- Support the Facilities team in maintaining budget trackers and monitoring expenditure.
- Respond to urgent facilities issues, helping minimise disruption to branch operations.
- Support contractor review meetings and help monitor supplier performance.
- Work closely with the Property team to resolve landlord and building-related issues.
- Assist with health & safety, fire risk assessments, compliance activities, and incident documentation.
- Analyse reactive maintenance data and produce reports to help improve service delivery and control costs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
