Facilities & Energy Engineer

Permanent - Days - Monday to Friday

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be exclusively partnering with our long-standing, Global client for the appointment of a Facilities & Energy Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting hybrid role for a forward-thinking company, with excellent benefits, a competitive base salary, and an opportunity to be involved in growth and continuous improvement.

This role will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of site infrastructure and utilities on a COMAH production facility.

Job Description

  • Managing energy contracts and suppliers, monitoring site energy performance, and leading optimization initiatives to reduce energy consumption and cost in line with company sustainability goals.
  • Liaising with external contractors and suppliers to deliver maintenance and compliance works, including collection of RAMS, preparation, and issuing of work permits.
  • Creating and being responsible for actively managing and tracking Facilities & Energy budget.
  • Planning and delivering site infrastructure projects.
  • Leading, managing, and coordinating utilities maintenance and improvement.
  • Leading, managing, and coordinating maintenance and improvement on HVAC and AHU systems, plumbing, and drainage networks.
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining accurate maintenance records and schedules.

  • Experience managing facilities and utilities within a high-hazard or COMAH-regulated environment.
  • Time-served Engineer.
  • Good understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance for industrial facilities.
  • Competent in contractor management and site coordination.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software preferred.
